-New Discoveries-

"Hey you guys, I have a question." Emily interrupted the long silence from the long walk. We looked up at her as she continues. "What episode do you think we are in?"

"Oh I don't know." I said, staring up at the trees in wonder."You guys want to try something dangerous?" Kendall and Emily stared at me in confusion. I smiled in determination, getting into position as I thrust myself up in the air as I grabbed a tree branch, and swing 180 degree's, smoothly balanced myself as I stood on the tree branch in accomplishment. My friends stared at me,wide eyes.

"Holy mother of God!" Emily blurted, loudly.

"I wanna try!" Kendall exclaimed as she jump, and perfectly landed on the tree branch next to mind. Emily followed behind, an shouted out." We're like monkey's man."

"No, we are like NINJA'S man!" I said, as we all laughed. We all hopped to another tree, to continue our journey.

"Wait a minute, how do we know the village is in this direction?" Kendall ask, following beside me. I looked beyond the greens and browns from the trees, remembering.

"I don't really know. But something is really pulling me this way. Don't you two sense it?" I ask, looking over both of my shoulders. Emily and Kendall only shook their heads in disagreement.

"I don't sense anything at all." Emily said, looking at me weirdly.

"What ? You don't sense it?" I asked, blinking in confusion."Kendall?" I looked over at her, but only got a no in response. I stopped sprinting and landed on a tree branch.

"But how could I be the only one to sense it?" Now I'm really confused.

Kendall looked skeptical."Maybe it's just one of your powers."

I took this in for a minute, still unsure."Maybe...."

"No really, Kendall's right, just look over there!" Emily said, pointing in front of us. A shape of an overly large door was peaking out behind all the tree branches and it's leaves.

"Wow, when they name this region the Village Hidden in the Leaves. They mean it literally." Kendall said, squinting her eyes to get a better vision.

"Then let's go already!!" Emily whined excitedly.

"Hold on a minute here!" I interrupted her.

"What is it now?" They both complained in unison, crossing their arms over their chest, with an aggravated expression plastered on their faces.

"Well first of all, we have to be careful about our identity. Meaning that we shall never, I mean it, never tell anyone our last names. And never tell them any of those Leaf people we know who they are. Because one, we might get killed. Two, they will think that we're spies from another village, and three, we might get arrested for no damn reason." I said, taking a breath in to continue."So if anyone ask you who we are and where did we came from, tell them only our first name and that we came from the Village Hidden on the Moon." I instructed, as the two take this all in.

"Alright Mom, can we go now?" Emily said sarcastically, rubbing her temples.

"I've never herd of that village before." Kendall said, ignoring Emily's comment.

"That's because it doesn't exist. We don't want anyone to know anything about us." I said. Emily nodded in agreement, jumping down from the tree she was standing on and revealed herself in front of the Leaf entrance.

"Damn...."Emily said,as she tilted her head back while looking up at the two enormous green door. Kendall and I was immediately beside her.

"So how do you think we get in?" I asked, also looking up at the oversize door.

"Don't know, let's try knocking." Kendall said, walking slowly towards the door. Emily and I watched her in the background with curious eyes as she wildly kicked the door several time, making the doors furiously shake. We all jumped when we herd the wooden door cracked under Kendall's forceful kick.

"Kendall, are you mad?! Geese!" I exclaimed, bewildered by her actions. She nervously laughed while scratching the back of her head. Emily slapped her forehead at Kendall's idiocy.

"Who's there?" A male voice called out. We all looked up at the ninja above the now cracked door.

"Well, it worked didn't it?" Kendall grinned. Looking back at me when Emily and I shook our heads in disbelief."See, what I tell ya, he he."Kendall lightly laughed.

"What are your business here?" The man continue to question, when none of us responded. I looked back up at the guy, and immediately knew who he was.

"Hey, your that proctor guy at the--" Emily started to say, but I covered her mouth before she finishes. I hissed into her ear in warning.

"Be quiet! What did I tell you about pretending to not know about these people." I glared at her, and look back at the ninja.

"We came here as travelers, and would like to stay and rest for a couple of days." Kendall said, carefully choosing her words. I nodded with approval as the ninja study us for a couple of minutes, nodding to himself, as if we look like three harmless girls.

"Open the gates!" He called out over his shoulder. The door slowly open, as two Jonin walked up toward us. One with Brown Spiky hair with a side burn under his right eye. The other ninja have a Leaf bandanna tied over his head.

"My name is Raido Namiashi." Said spiky hair.

"Iwashi Tatami." Bandanna guy nodded at us.

"I'm Kendall, this is Emily and Maelee." My blond friend gesture toward us as we both nodded back at the proctors.

"And I'm Genma Shiranui." Said the guy that we were talking to earlier. He wore a navy blue bandanna, a green vest with tons of pockets, and a fishnet suit under it, like the other ninja proctors. A toothpick in his mouth.

"I'll be taking you three to the Fifth Lord, if you don't mind." Genma siad, his brown bangs loosely hung on each side of his face.

"Okay!" Emily said with enthusiasm. Genma nodded and leaded us through the village. Curious eyes gazed upon us from many people. When we pass the ramen shop, all three of us spotted four ninja's.

"Pss, Maelee, Emily, look. Isn't that Hinata, Kiba, Shino, and Kurenai- Sensei?! Kendall cooed. I nodded, smiling as I looked over at the four ninja's eating ramen. Emily notice that Kiba's dog looked up under his hoodie, and he's staring right at her. I stared back at Emily as she looked confuse from me to the dog. The dog then jumped out, totting towards us, as he sniffed out feet, and jumped into Emily's arms.

"Aw, you're so cute!" Emily and I said at the same time. The dog wagged his, licking Emily's cheek, which made her and I laughed--petting the little adorable creature.

"I'm more of a cat person, but dogs are cute too." Kendall said, scratching the dog's ear.

"I forgot his name." Emily said, thinking to hard, which made Kendall and I sweat drop(p.s.: sweat drop is when you have a bead of sweat hanging the side of your head as if to you annoyance, or expressing how to you that the other of how stupid they react to a certain point. For example, the expression would be like this: -_-' ).

"Akamaru!" Kiba called, as he was running up to us. He wore a gray coat jacket over his fishnet shirt, black shorts, blue ninja shoes, and a leaf headband that is tied around his forehead. He also have two red triangular markings on both of his side cheek.

"Ugh, hi." Kiba said, slowing his pace a few feet away from us. We all turn around toward his direction. Kinda was looking at us, up and down.

Yep, totally checking us out. I was starting to get paranoid of people's stare, and so is Emily. Kendall was being her usual self to even notice. She was too drown to be in the village, and smiling like a goofball. Akamaru, our new and first best buddy jumped out of Emily's arms, and back into Kiba's hood, barking happily.

Genma--the proctor-- Emily, Kendall, and I all stared at Kiba as he stared back at us for I don't know how long until Hinata, Shino, and Kurenai was beside Kiba.

"What's going on here?" Kurenai demanded.

"Nothing harmful. His dog just jumped into this little girl's arms." Genma said, gesturing to Emily, who instantly got offended and was about to kick the proctor where the sun doesn't shine if Kendall and I haven't pulled her away before she could of made contact with her foot. I stomped on her foot, and shook my head in disapproval.

"But he called me little!" Emily hissed venomously through clenched teeth. Her hands was balling up into a fist.

"I know. But chill, he doesn't know you yet. You'll have your chance to prove him wrong." I said, but I herd someone snickered , probably overhearing our conversation. I'll put money on that Kendall was the one who snorted.

"What's up, I'm Kiba Inuzuka, and this little fella is Akamaru." He said, pointing tho his dog.

"Shino Auburame." Said the guy that wore a similar sunglasses as Ozzy Osbourne. Shino has black spiky hair, who's wearing a white coat that covers his whole body, blue shoes, and wore his headband around his forehead. As for Hinata, the shy and gentle girl with violet hair, and bangs hung on the side of her pale face. She wore a cream color jackets with hoddie, and pale eyes. It's almost like she's wearing a blue stretchy pant's but who knows? She also had ninja shoes, and her headband was tired around her neck.

"H-hello, I'm Hinata Hyuga. It's nice to meet you all." She shyly said, looking at her squad, and back at us three. We all nodded and I introduce us.

"I'm Maelee, and these are my friends, Emily and Kendall." I said, gesturing to the two girls beside me. Kurenai looked at us expectantly then said something loud enough that made Kendall, Emily, and I looked up at her in surprised.

Why didn't that Maelee child spoke of their last names? Are they hiding something? Kendall and Emily looked from Kurenai then to me and back. None of us herd Kurenai spoke those words, well with her mouth moving that is. But how is that possible?

Then Kurenai spoke again, with her mouth not moving. Could they've possibly hear what I'm saying in my head? That' isn't possible....right? She looked from me to my friends to see our reaction, again. I took precaution, making my face black, and before it's too late. I did a little experiment, and talked to the two friend beside me.

Emily, Kendall, listen to me.That as if you can hear me. And they both did listen, so I continue. Don't show your emotion to Kurenai, she's testing us with her mind tricks. Just don't show any expression that will relate to her words. I'll explain everything later.Do you understand'? Answer me with your minds. I didn't dare look at my friends, as Kurenai did.

Yes. They both said in unison, their thoughts surprised them, but their expression remain the blank. I smiled at them, looking back at Kurenai, seeing that she was convinced by our expressions.

Oh good, they apparently couldn't hear me. For a second I thought those three could of read my mind. Kurenai sigh in relief, making her students jumped by the sound. They were all looking up at her in confusion, as I herd giggling in my head that was obviously coming from Kendall and Emily. I struggle to suppressed my own laughter.

"Okay, that's enough. I need to escort there girls to the Hokage's office, and get back to my post." Genma said, nodding once to Kurenai and started walking off. The three of us followed him as we waved back to our new friends.

Hey, you're supposed to explain to us what had just happen back there, so talk. Emily demanded, her eyes piercing the back of my neck.

I think we can read people's minds. I said, sighing for no reason.

That may be true, but how come Kurenai and the others couldn't hear what we're saying? Kendall ask.

I shrugged my shoulders. I think that's one of our powers we all share, as three I mean. And because they can't read minds like us. Another thing is that maybe we need to connect to their brains and then talk to them like we're talking right now. I will call it mind-talking. I lightly laughed out loud, making Genma looked at me in curiosity.

Hey, let's try it on Genma! And see of he'll respond. Emily suggested.  Kendall and I grinned wickedly and nodded in agreement.

I have a question, Genma. Emily thought. As we watch his actions, Genma stopped walking and looked back at us.

"What is it?" He asked. I immediately spoke for Emily.

"What is what?" I ask back, placing a fake-but confuse- expression on. Emily and Kendall's mind clicked in and did the same thing.

"One of you just asked me you wanted to know something." Genma said, now his eyes full of confusion.

"We never said or even ask about anything. Isn't that right girls? We were quiet the whole time, right?" Kendall questioned Emily and I, as she looks back at us. We both nodded and smiled innocently at the proctor.

"But I--" Genma stopped mid sentence, but gave up while shaking his head, as if he's hallucinating. I hysterically laughed inside m head, which Kendall and Emily gladly joined in from our little experiment.

* * * *

As we reached the top stairs of the Hokage's office entrance, and Genma lightly knocked on the door. A young women with short black hair with the same matching eyes looked over Genma's shoulders to look at us three. She was also holding a little pig in her arms. And it's definitely is a girl pig, because it's wearing a pear necklace and a red shirt.

Aw, how cute! I thought, as I looked back at the lady I knew who she was. Hey you guys, it's Shizune! The medical ninja, and she's also Tusnade's assistant! I shouted in our heads. Kendall and Emily covered their ears, as my sound echoed and ringed through our ears, but it did no help.

Shit, Maelee. Man that freakin hurts! Keep your inside voice down will ya, and I mean it this time!

"We have a major headache from traveling, and we would be grateful if the Hokage let us spend a day or two in Konoha. I lied effortlessly.

"Come with me." Shizune said, walking through the halls, her mind was alert and wide awake. I smiled at Genma and followed Shizune, while Emily and Kendall was right beside me. When we reached the Hokage's office, knocking twice, then three times slowly as if that was some kind of secret code. I herd a tired voice told us to come in. Shizune generously opens the door for us to go in first, but I turned around and went behind Kendall, like a scared child, and let her go in first.

As we enter, there, across from us--sitting in the Hokage's chair, was one of the three legendary Sanin, Tusnade. Her blond hair dangles and sways, and her brown eyes looking down at what I think is some paper work. She was resting her chin on the palm of her left hand, bored as ever. She took a couple of sip of.....sake? I don't know what it is, steams are rising off of her cup, or maybe she's just drinking herbal tea? I was in deep thoughts to notice that her attentions was now on us, a surprised expression plastered on her face, as she spoke out loud relentlessly.

"I didn't expect travelers to come in this time of year. How may I help you?" Tusnade ask politely. She was mostly observing Kendall, who she thought was the leader of this coven.

Coven, ha! Leader, HA! We're just three simple girls who got sent to this ninja world for I don't know what reason! Emily must of herd what I said, because she was looking at me as if I've gone wacko.I looked over at her apologetically. Sorry, hehe.I lost my cool for a minute there. Emily just shooked her head in distaste. Uh-huh.She said sarcastically.

Kendall was indeed listening to our conversation before she begun talking, like a leader should. "We need a place to stay for maybe a couple of nights. Of course, we need your permission first." Kendall smiled, halfheartedly. Tusnade studied us once more--deciding if it's a good idea to let stranger stay here.

I'll assign someone to keep an eye on these three, and see if anything looks suspicious. Tusnade thought, nodding to herself in satisfaction.

"Okay, you can stay here. But I need to know where you came from and your other history." She said, almost strictly.

Uh-oh. I looked back on the corner of my eyes at Emily then at the back of Kendall's head.

What should we do? Kendall asked, a hint of worry in her tone, but she kept her face skeptical.

Yeah, we can't just tell her the truth. She might think we're crazy and arrest us or something! Emily said.

Ssh, gals just calm down, and let''s stick to the plan..... Kendall. I thought.

Yes? she asked nervously, not turning to look back at me.She simply nodded at Tusnade to her in agreement, knowing that nod was for me. I sigh in my head, trying to clam myself down.

Say: we came from the Village Hidden on the Moon. I instructed.

"We came from the Village Hidden on the Moon." Kendall said, loud and clear. I looked over Kendall's shoulder to see the Fifth Lord flinched in surprised. The three of us looked at her in confusion.

Why is she all surprise? It's not like the village exist. Emily said.

"I've herd of that village before, but it was just a rumor. I didn't know it actually existed." Tusnade mumbled, which took us by surprised.

"Really?" Emily ask out loud. Kendall and I shot her a warning look.

Tsunade nodded "Yes, I've thought that it was just a silly rumor, but you girls just proved me wrong." Then added." You have the symbol of a crescent moon on your weapons, and on this young ladies right wrist." She gesture towards Kendall's hand.

How could we have not notice that? I looked over at Kendall's hand. There, imprinted like a tattoo, was an orange meteor. I then looked down at my two daggers, and they also have an outline of a crescent moon on it. The colors of it was dazzling blue, and it literally glitters! Emily's symbol was neither a meteor nor moon. It was a yellow star, plastered all over her sword's sleet and two stars were hanging around the handle of her sword.

I thought you said that there was no such thing as a Moon Village? Emily accused.

I don't know anymore,Emily. I'm not a Naruto freak who knows everything about this world. I defended.

Cut it out gals. Kendall snapped at us.

"How old are you three?" Tsunade ask, interrupting our little hissy fit.

"Kendall and Emily are both fourteen." I quickly said before Kendall spoke. I gesture to my blond friend, who looked back at me in surprised, and then to Emily who was now beside me.

Then I continued."I'm fifteenth." Tusnade looked at me skeptically.

What are you doing? I thought we're pretending that I'm the leader. Kendall protested.

We need to confuse her. She is THE Hokage, we can't just let her know that there's no leader. I said. Emily you need to speak up, when she ask another question.

Tusnade then composed herself, and as predicted, she ask an expected question to all three of us.

She strictly question us."Aren't you girls a little too young to be searching for the book of Moon?"

"The Book of Moon?" Emily ask.

"Isn't that what you call it?" She ask suspiciously.

"Um..."Emily stalled.

Guys, what should I say? Help me! Emily cried.

Ouch, that's loud.I winced.

Just say yes, and go along with it.  Kendall said.

"Yes it is. Now that I think about it." Emily said.

In my opinion,Emily. You are terrible at acting. I lamely said.

Shut up. I'm doing my best here! Emily yelled. Kendall only sigh, not even bothering to try to stop this argument.

When we look back at the Lord, she was convinced by Emily's reply."I herd that it went missing, or should I say, been stolen." Tusnade said.

Bingo, we got out mystery answered. We all said at the same time. Emily nodded at the Hokage.

"Well that is all. You may explore the village as you please. One of the squad leaders is going to be at the ramen shop to show you where you'll be staying. Dismiss." The fifth Lord said, as she went back to her paperwork.

When we were about to leave, she spoke again. Quickly this time." Oh, and one more thing. Your looking for the man name Kakashi Hatake. I'll inform him about you girls when I get to him."

* * * *

Did you guys hear that? We're going to be escorted by the one and only mirrored-eye ninja, Kakashi Hatake! Kendall exclaim. She waved her arms enthusiastically when we reached out side of the office. People was definitely staring at us even more now.

So why can't we discuss this out loud? Emily ask, ignoring peoples stares and Kendall's enthusiasm.

We don't want to attract attention. I simply said.

Uh-huh, and Kendall waving her arms like a brainless maniac is normal and non-suspicious?

I grinned.Yep, because that's how she normally acts. Nothing suspicious about her weirdness.

Oh hey, now that I'm thinking of Kakashi. Where is that number one knuckle-headed ninja, Naruto Uzumaki? Kendall ask us.

Don't know, do you want this to be our first ever mission? I ask, a bit smug.

"Yes!" Kendall shouted, which made several people stopped and stare at us. I smiled and waved to the villagers. Some smiled, some waved back, and continued on with their lives.

Number one mission: Find Naruto Uzumaki! Emily exclaimed, smiling. Kendall and I smiled, as all three of us looked across the swarming villagers with excitement filled up in our eyes for the awaiting adventures that is ahead of us.
